The force’s personnel will compete for two days in different categories in two separate sections for men and women.
Quran reiteration, memorization of the Quran (different levels), Tarteel, Quranic concepts, and recitation of Adhan (call to prayers) are among the categories of the competition.
A total of 257 IRGC Ground Force members have made it to the final stage, according to Colonel Shahram Askarian, the force’s public relations deputy.
He said in order to enhance the level of the contenders’ Quranic skills, a number of classes will be organized for them a day before the start of the competition.
Askarian added that 16 Quran experts will serve in the panel of judges to assess the performances of the contenders in various categories.
